Sukkot
Sukkot is a holiday when meals are eaten in the sukkah—a temporary booth of sorts—and it also marks the biblical celebration of the harvest. The final days of Sukkot form a separate yet connected holiday, when we celebrate the conclusion of the Torah reading cycle and the beginning of a new one. Often, the symbolic foods of Rosh Hashanah carry through into the celebration of Sukkot; some families continue dipping challah in honey throughout this period.
